As of Monday 7/02/05 it will be official club policy for all water users to sign out. 

This is for health and safety reasons and will be compulsory and enforced. 

Please use the white board provided by the main shutter. 
Write your name/initials and at what time you are boating. Once you return just wipe it off (i.e. there is no need to sign back in).

For Example: 

HW 1X 8.30      -     Would mean that anyone who came down would know I hit the water at 8.30 and am still on the water. 

Or another example would be: 

HW 4+ 16.00      -     Would mean I am out in a 4+. 

• There is no need to write everyone’s name on the board, one person’s and the boat type will suffice. 
• If the board is blank then there should be no boats on the water. 
• If you are on the water during the week and do not expect anyone else down do not ignore it as it is even more vital to make sure you sign out when it is quiet. 
• This applies to both club and private boats and extends to guests boating from the club premises. 

Thanks for your cooperation in this matter. It will take 10 seconds which is significantly less time than it takes to sign out at the park when you are training there.
