GRC Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM)

Scottish Rowing have put forward a proposal to change the format of the racing calendar through the winter series (formerly Head races). This will involve a series of distance races run by Scottish Rowing to encourage competition from all levels at these Scottish events. This challenge series may dovetail with clubs regattas and encourage clubs to work together to maximise participation.

The next meeting of the clubs of the Clyde to discuss how this will work in practice will be on the 11th March so the committee are calling an EGM for the Wednesday 4th March 2020 at 6pm until approx. 7pm. The topics to be discussed at the EGM will be the Winter Challenge proposal, the GRC 4s Head, Clyde RC Tenancy at GRC and a minor change to the Constitution to align with Community Amateur Sports Clubs. No other business will be discussed at this meeting and the agenda cannot be extended.

Your attendance is requested as a minimum of 12 members is required to make a quorum. Like an AGM, if you cannot attend, please let Paul (Captain) or Liam (Secretary) know and let them know who you would like to represent you at this meeting for any votes which are required.
