Demolition of flats in Silverfir St. - SUNDAY 26 Feb ALL DAY.

The two blocks of flats that are between the boat club and the mini-roundabout are to be
demolished this Sunday.

The actual demolition is scheduled for 12 noon or thereabouts, but read on.

There is to be a 150-metre 'exclusion zone' from 7:45 until
approximately 15:00. Caledonia Road will be closed to all traffic.
The residents of the flats next to the club have been told to remove
their cars.

The club is, apparently, outside the 150 metre limit, but we will not be
able to drive in during the times above. Pedestrian access will be
possible all day via Waterside Street and Ballater Street.

I imagine that there will also be a lot of spectators around mid-day who
might want to amuse themselves by singing 'row, row, row....' or worse.

The image below shows the immediate vicinity. The flats in question
are highlighted. The line between the edge and our car park is 150
metres long, in case you are interested.
