Glasgow clubs get Royal supporter
The long-running saga that is the Glasgow Boat House project has received surprise support from a high-profile sponsor.
A well-placed source did not deny that the Duke of York had offered assistance to the project in return for a life membership of CARC.
"Actually, he is a very nice man", she said.
Spokesman Mr David Weir, a founder member of CARC, said "hello!, hello?"
